Just 17 months after his injury, Sam was back riding his BMX bike. Sam’s therapist uploaded a video of Sam riding his bike with a caption that read: “Tokyo 2020….? Sam Willoughby (C6 Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury) is the first client I have worked with in almost 20 years who isn’t walking yet, but can ride a BMX bike.”

The video shows Sam slowly picking up the pace as he rides his BMX bike down the incline of his driveway with someone spotting him along the way.
