United Spinal Association represents our nation’s 5.5 million wheelchair users. Our mission is to empower and advocate for people with spinal cord injury/disorder (SCI/D) and all wheelchair users to achieve their highest quality of life.
Individual membership is free for people with spinal cord injuries or disorders, all wheelchair users, their family members, care providers, health care professionals, and interested individuals who reside in the United States.
Our members receive priority access to our information specialists through our HelpDesk, access to our peer support and chapter networks, exclusive member benefits that includes discounts to products and services along with valuable information relating to the disability community.

Age Restrictions
You must be 18 years or older to qualify for membership in United Spinal. Parents and guardians of children under 18 years of age are encouraged to become members by completing the application. Please enter your information and not information pertaining to your child.

About This Form
Individual membership is free and open to people with spinal cord injuries or disorders, family members, care providers and professionals, and interested individuals. Members are encouraged to join one of our many chapters.

We believe that people with SCI/D can live full, productive, and rewarding lives and are committed to providing the information and resources to help make that happen.
