Quadriplegic Demonstrates How She Walks Dog

Carissa Louise, a C6/C7 quadriplegic, demonstrates how she is able to independently walk her dog (Louie) thanks to a few pieces of equipment that can be added to her wheelchair.

Carissa attaches the Batech to the front of her manual wheelchair. The attachment turns her wheelchair into a powered hand bike. Carissa then attaches the “Walky” to her powered hand bike attachment. The “Walky” is a steel exercise leash for dogs that was made for bicycles. Check out Carissa and Louie rolling through the grass and roads at high speed!
