Joseph Visaggi is a paraplegic who shares videos on his YouTube channel (Wheelzoffortune) demonstrating how he accomplishes certain independent living tasks.
In one of his videos, Joseph demonstrates how he is able to get off an airplane independently.
Joseph maneuvers his body down the aisle by using his arm strength and the armrests of the seats lining the aisle. He alternates pushing off his arms as he reaches for the armrests of the seats in front of him. When Joseph makes it to the front of the aisle he sits in a chair and then transfers into the accessible aisle chair.
At the end of his video, Joseph also demonstrates how one would make it down the aisle using an aisle chair, and being pushed by someone.
