We are excited to partner with the Kelly Brush Foundation (KBF) to combine resources and enhance support for individuals with spinal cord injuries and their families.
About the Kelly Brush Foundation
The Kelly Brush Foundation (KBF) is dedicated to inspiring and empowering individuals with spinal cord injuries (SCI) to live active and engaged lives. Here’s how they are making an impact.
The Active Fund provides grants for individuals with SCIs to obtain cost-prohibitive adaptive sports equipment. KBF believes that access to the right equipment can open doors to new experiences and opportunities. To date, KBF has awarded over 1,800 grants, and our motivation to provide support continues to grow.
The Active Project is a web-based platform designed for the SCI community to connect, share, and learn from one another. Users can explore a wide range of adaptive sports, discover numerous adaptive sports programs, and connect with a community of individuals who share a passion for an active lifestyle.
KBF also offers scholarships and adaptive sports camps, ensuring that individuals can participate in activities that inspire them and promote physical well-being. These experiences help build confidence, skills, and lifelong friendships.

United Spinal’s Contributions to the Active Project
United Spinal is contributing extensive resources to the Active Project platform, enriching our network and providing greater access to information and support.
