United Spinal Association is enthusiastic to welcome six new board members! The cohort represents a younger, more demographically and professionally diverse group while remaining disability-led.
Ali Ingersoll: Ali is a seasoned nonprofit and DEI professional, a dedicated United Spinal member, Ms. Wheelchair America 2023, and a writer and blogger.
Charisma Sydnor: Charisma is one half of Cole & Charisma, superstar YouTube duo, who, along with being an influencer, was also once a rehabilitation tech, and possesses a MA in Occupational Therapy.
Carol Salas: Carol is the Director of the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities at the University of Puerto Rico and serves on the leadership of the Association of University Centers on Disabilities, and is a former National Council on Disability staff member.
Christopher Connolly: Christopher is a resident physician at and graduate of the University of Michigan — holding both a MBA and MD — a former intern of Senator Tammy Duckworth, and an active advocate of our community living with quadriplegia.
Ana Torres-Davis: Ana is Senior Attorney at the National Council on Disability, having previously worked at Housing and Urban Development and the AARP Foundation.
Robert Barbieri: Robert is a family member of a wheelchair user who is passionate about working on behalf of our community, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Inseego, and has dedicated his successful career in business to the tech sector.
