When you’re out on the go and need to sign for a credit card, it’s handy to have a way to hold a pen without requiring a splint.
Writing without moving your fingers
Eric Ting, a quadriplegic who is unable to move his fingers, demonstrates writing without a splint, which as given him the freedom to sign or write something whenever he needs. He uses his mouth to wedge the pen between his middle and index fingers. The pen slides around more with this method, so he only uses it to sign or write just a little bit.
Check out his adaptive splint that holds a pen that he uses when he has to write more.
