Quadriplegic Mom Demonstrates How She Snaps Baby's Onesie

Meg Johnson, a quadriplegic with limited hand function, demonstrates how she independently snaps her baby’s onesie while getting her daughter dressed. She admits this is a task that some might not think she can accomplish, but she shows how she get it done.

Meg lays her daughter on the changing table and positions the baby’s onesie between her legs to get ready to snap it closed. Meg is able to grasp a little with one hand. Therefore, she grasps the top of the snap with one hand while holding the other side of the snap in place with the other.  The two sides eventually meet and – with enough force – snap together. Meg has to complete this step over until all three snaps are closed. She states that the onesies with a little extra room are a ‘touch’ easier.

Meg says she is grateful for her daughter’s patience!
