Quadriplegic Former Rugby Player And Wife Welcomes First Baby

Alex McKinnon played rugby for the Newcastle Knights when he was involved in a tackle that resulted in a spinal cord injury. Alex became a quadriplegic.

Not long after his accident, Alex proposed to his girlfriend Teigan. The couple exchanged vows in 2017. One year after walking his bride down the aisle, Alex announced the birth of his daughter (Harriet) on his Instagram.   

Alex is still involved in the rugby league circles as a commentator for broadcast network Fox Sports.

Alex’s story is proof of all that can be accomplished post injury!
