Jack Osbourne, T.V. personality, has used his status as a celebrity to bring awareness to multiple sclerosis in recent years. Jack was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) in 2012. He has created a website called “You Don’t Know Jack About MS” with webisodes about his daily life and also features other individuals who have multiple sclerosis.

Jack admits that he does have his own “why me” moments, and has dealt with depression. However, he credits his wife and an active lifestyle to getting him through the dark days.
“I’m not going to waste a weekend just sitting around at the house. I’m going to go do something and it’s usually something active.”
Jack takes injections three times a week to help supress his MS. He says that a chance of a relapse is always there, but he has shown that he is a risk taker and is not going to let a chance stop him from living his life.

Multiple Sclerosis is a diverse disease, says Jack. But by opening up and sharing his story he is showing others who have multiple sclerosis that they are not alone.
“I’m very fortunate. Admittedly, that’s not the case with everyone with MS. In some regards, people might say I’m not the best spokesperson for MS because I’m the better side of things, and some people have been frustrated by this, but that’s the diversity [of this disease].”
