At MATRX, we are Maximizing Abilities Through Research-based eXercise. We seek to empower every individual to become his/her greatest advocate for success to rediscover what is possible in movement, function, and recreation throughout life. Our private practice outpatient clinic is dedicated to delivering physical therapy through techniques and technologies that are supported by clinical research. We recognize that the degree to which the matrix of healthcare providers collaborates on a patient case is paramount to reducing the time required for equipment acquisition, care delivery, and most importantly, functional recovery. MATRX Health & Fitness prioritizes interdisciplinary communication and the establishment of an alliance among the patient, family, and healthcare team.
We have extensive experience working with individuals after spinal cord injury. We also have considerable experience working with other neurologic and orthopedic conditions including: traumatic brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), amputation, shoulder and rotator cuff injury, total knee and hip replacements, poly-trauma, and burns.

MATRX Health & Fitness strives to empower our clients to take an active role in their care. Each client is met at his/her current stage in the rehabilitation process. Facility Design:
Patients receiving on-on-one physical therapy have access to personal training, personalized nutrition consultation, massage therapy, and peer support. Our open gym concept features traditional gym and fitness equipment with accessible adaptations and specialty gait training and rehab-specific equipment to support all ability levels. We foster a group atmosphere for social support and encouragement, but we have a private treatment room available for those who need or want a quieter environment.

We have a licensed assistive technology professional on-sight. With this certification, we have a level of expertise in wheelchair seating and positioning that is unmatched by our competition. Whether ordering a wheelchair for the first time, or replacing current equipment, we can ensure the most appropriate fit for each individual’s needs and function. MATRX Health & Fitness has helped many individuals navigate equipment purchases for handcycles, tandem bikes, kayaks, tennis wheelchairs, all-sport chairs, and snow skis. We are happy to assist any of our clients with grant writing for sporting equipment.
