Welcome to the Hines Spinal Cord Injury/Disorders Service. Our goal at Hines SCI/D is to offer every spinal cord injured Veteran the optimum continuum of care in order that they can achieve and maintain their highest possible level of independence and functioning. Each Veteran in our Spinal Cord Injury/Disorder Service is treated with respect, dignity, compassion, and concern. We aim to listen and develop all goals and outcomes in partnership with the Veteran and his/her family, providing clear explanations and assistance at every step of the rehabilitation and treatment process.
