The Dignity Health Physical Therapy Outpatient Neurologic Rehabilitation program offers physical, occupational, and speech therapies for individuals with acquired, congenital, and degenerative neurologic disorders. Whether you’re recovering from a stroke, managing a neurodegenerative disease like Parkinson’s or ALS, or adapting to life after a traumatic brain or spinal cord injury, we provide comprehensive, individualized rehabilitation needed to enhance function and independence.

Our team consists of residency-trained and board-certified neurologic rehabilitation experts who combine evidence-based techniques with advanced rehabilitation equipment that includes tools for neuromuscular electrical stimulation like VitalStim, Bioness, Xcite, and RT300 iFES lower and upper extremity ergometer. Additional equipment used to optimize implementation of neurologic rehabilitation interventions includes the Solo-Step Overhead Track System, LiteGait, EasyStand Standing Frame, and Rifton E-Pacer.

Our multidisciplinary approach ensures that every aspect of your rehabilitation is addressed. Physical therapy focuses on strength, balance, mobility, and the unique seating and mobility needs of wheelchair users. Occupational Therapy supports your ability to perform everyday tasks through improved physical functioning and adapted equipment as well as managing neurogenic bowel and bladder and sexuality after neurologic injury. Speech Therapy services focus on optimizing communication, swallowing, cognitive functions, and the use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
