1) SCI Peer Group Meeting is a monthly peer group meeting for those with or caregivers of spinal cord injuries. We meet the first Saturday of the month at 3pm (except on holidays; then the meeting will be held the second Saturday of the month). The meeting is now hybrid: virtual and in person. Virtual meeting via zoom meeting ID 409 793 6762. For the in person part of the hybrid offering, we gather at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, Golden Valley MN Campus at 3915 Golden Valley Road Golden Valley, MN 55422 on the 2nd floor in the board room. During non-winter months, we also have outdoor events such as adaptive cycling, pizza hangout, 4th of July BBQ, adapted demo day. 2) Women Staying Strong (the women’s group) welcomes all women who have family members with spinal cord injuries. The group meets monthly, usually on the 2nd Sunday of the month though it varies, from 2-4pm. The meeting agenda is sent via email prior to each meeting.
