United Spinal’s Advocacy Team is excited to announce that the Grassroots Advocacy Network Facebook Page is up and running again!

The goal for our new Facebook Page is to have a location where United Spinal Advocates can go to interact and collaborate with other advocates. This will also be a resource for advocates to keep up on important topics such as district mobilization, action alerts, boot camps, State rolls, and updates on advocacy work.
In order to encourage engagement, United Spinal’s own Grassroots Advocacy Manager, Annie Streit, will be implementing live stream video which will allow advocates to view Annie’s live stream, ask questions while she is live, and become a part of the conversation.
These live streams are also recorded so anyone who follows the page can go back and watch previous live streams. Live streaming also provides the ability to bring in guests, have discussion groups, and it is a way for Annie to check in with the advocates.
This Facebook page can be an extremely helpful tool to build upon a community of individuals who want to improve their advocacy efforts with content that is easily available in one location. It is a method to build a close-knit advocacy network that can improve efficiency and motivation in this world of virtual interaction.
