PeerConnect: Burnout, Advocacy, and Disability Life
Living with SCI/D often means balancing healthcare, caregiving, advocacy, relationships, and everyday responsibilities— sometimes all at once. This PeerConnect session focuses on recognizing burnout, understanding its impact, and learning practical strategies to manage it. Participants will explore tools such as setting boundaries, delegating responsibilities, prioritizing self-care, and deciding when to say yes and when to say no while continuing to advocate for themselves and their communities.
