Kuhno is a manual wheelchair user who travels through Seoul, visiting accessible attractions and sharing tips for wheelchair users.
Kuhno, along with his friends Yelim and Hanna, visited Seoul’s Myeongdong district, one of the most popular and busiest shopping districts in Seoul. Their first stop is the famous restaurant, Myeongdong Gyoza.
“It’s really, really tasty,” Kuhno says of the restaurant, which was established in 1966, and features a menu of assorted Korean specialty foods, including: Kalguksu (chopped noodles), Mandu (dumplings), Bibimguksu (spicy mixed noodles), and Kongguksu (soybean noodles).
The adventuresome trio samples every dish at the restaurant, and at the end, the consensus is that all their dishes were equally delicious.
Kuhnu advises visitors that while Myeongdong Gyoza has two locations in Seoul, only one location is wheelchair accessible. Despite its accessibility, the restaurant does not provide an accessible bathroom; however, travelers can use an accessible restroom located across the street from the restaurant.
