“There was a lot of guilt when I was pregnant,” Marie shared about being pregnant after becoming a quadriplegic. “I felt like, I could barely take care of myself, how was I going to take care of another child?” Despite the challenges, she proved her fears were unfounded. “How wrong I was,” she concluded. Being a mother has been an absolute joy in her life and she is grateful that she made the decision she did despite her paralysis.
