Alex Ghenis

I am a writer, speaker, activist and consultant focused on disability rights and climate change. At age 16, I joined the ranks of the nearly 2 billion people with disabilities worldwide after sustaining a spinal cord injury in a bicycle crash. My experience as a student at UC Berkeley introduced me to the vibrant disability rights community, and I've been involved in disability rights education ever since. Meanwhile, my studies focused on climate change, the built environment, and renewable energy – topics that become even more important by the day.
