Getting Baby In And Out Of A Crib

Meg Johnson, quadriplegic mom, demonstrates how she gets her baby in and out of a crib.

Meg has a crib with a door that opens on the side, allowing her wheelchair to roll under and get close to the edge, making it easier to transfer her baby. The doors have latches that are easy for Meg to open and close without moving her fingers. “Getting out is a little bit tricky because I don’t want to hit her body on the wood,” explains Meg.

In the end, it might not always be smooth, but her little daughter is in or out in 30 seconds.
