Your child’s pacifier is on the floor out of reach and you don’t have a reacher, what do you do? Meg Johnson, a quadriplegic mom, had to figure out how to retrieve her daughter’s pacifier after fell on the floor on the far side of the crib, which is pushed against a wall.
Getting creative to solve the problem
She devised a method using her daughter’s blanket that helps her swipe it back towards where she can reach it herself. Since the pacifier has quite a habit of ending up out of reach, Meg’s had lots of practice to perfect her blanket retrieval method.
