Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation

Magee Rehabilitation Hospital and MossRehab have come together under the umbrella of Jefferson Health and are now known as Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation.

Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation includes six inpatient locations and more than 35 outpatient rehab sites. MossRehab is ranked #8 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Collectively, we are the largest and highest ranked provider of acute inpatient and outpatient physical and cognitive rehabilitation in the Philadelphia region. The Jefferson Moss Rehabilitation Research Institute facilitates the translation of work from the research lab to the bedside, leading to developments in neurorehabilitation.

Our Spinal Cord Injury Program provides inpatient and/or outpatient care to individuals who present with a clinical diagnosis of spinal cord injury/dysfunction, ranging from C1 through Cauda Equina levels, and all categories of severity (AIS A – E), including ventilator dependent. Diagnostic categories that might fall within this realm include but are not limited to traumatic and non-traumatic spinal cord injury, Guillain- Barre Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, spinal cord tumors, cancer, inflammatory conditions and any disorder effecting the central nervous system in the spinal cord.

Spinal cord injury services at Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation include an expert clinical inpatient program; state-of-the-art assistive and therapeutic technology; unique outpatient therapy programs including Day Hospital and community reintegration services. Lifetime follow-up care is provided to address the unique health and community reintegration concerns of people with SCI.
