JOIN THE FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHTS
United Spinal Association passionately advocates for the rights, independence, and well-being of wheelchair users and all people with disabilities, as we’ve done for nearly 80 years. Through grassroots activism, policy engagement, and public education, we help shape laws and policies that promote accessibility, inclusion, and equal opportunity.
But our hard-won gains are now in danger.
Our community faces threats of rollbacks to decades of progress. Cuts to Medicaid and home- and community-based services, efforts to weaken our disability rights laws, and attacks on safe air travel and healthcare access all endanger the independence and quality of life of wheelchair users.
Join us in this urgent fight. Advocate with United Spinal as we push back against policies that seek to exclude and marginalize. Lend your voice, your energy, and your commitment to this vital cause.

The Advocacy Impact Fund: Fueling the Fight
United Spinal launched the Advocacy Impact Fund: a bold initiative to empower and amplify the voices of people with disabilities and fight back against these harmful policies.
The Advocacy Impact Fund will:
- Double our grassroots advocacy network to 5,000 to influence decision-makers and safeguard essential rights.
- Fund legal and policy action to challenge discriminatory laws and regulations.
- Support education campaigns to raise awareness and foster allyship.
- Provide resources and training to help wheelchair users become effective self-advocates.
Contributions to the Advocacy Impact Fund go directly toward helping us defend the dignity and rights of wheelchair users and ensuring their voices are heard. Your support will fuel the fight for accessible communities, equitable healthcare, and policies that support independent living.
