Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation – Dallas
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation – Dallas is one of 10 federally designated Model Systems for the treatment and research of both spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. The spinal cord injury program provides a continuum of care comprised of inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient rehabilitation, wheelchair seating clinics and outpatient physicians’ clinics. This comprehensive care program employs specialized clinicians who use the most current technologies and equipment needed to promote recovery and independence to people with spinal cord injuries/disorders. The inpatient team is led by a board certified physician in SCI and physical medicine and rehabilitation. The Dallas outpatient clinic offers a broad SCI program that includes a comprehensive day program and individualized services to meet the needs of persons with spinal cord injuries.
