4 Tips for Moms in Wheelchairs

“Parenting can be challenging…and a lot of the things are parallels with an able-body.” Marie became a mother after she became a quadriplegic and learned all her tricks in the years raising her now college-aged kids. From keeping herself in check to finding an effective way to putting her son in time out, Marie found a way to be involved and connected with other moms, even though she’s the only wheelchair user.

Four tips for moms in wheelchairs:

  1. Be aware of your own frustrations

Not even sure you’re interested in having kids? Check out Marie’s perspective.
