Located in the Central Sierra Nevada, the Central California Adaptive Sports Center (CCASC) brings outdoor adventure programs to persons with disabilities. We welcome individuals and groups of all ages and backgrounds.
Central California Adaptive Sports Center provides year-round adaptive recreation and adventure programming. Our programs incorporate the latest equipment and therapeutic recreation practices, facilitate activities in a professional manner, and collaborate with other organizations, with the goal of providing programming that has a lasting impact on the quality of our participant’s lives.
Depending on interest and suitability, weekend camp activities include a combination of mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, fly-fishing, and paddle boarding. Weekends include two days and two nights of camping overnight in tents at our lakeside campground.
CCASC offers lessons for persons with disabilities of all skill levels and interests, including sit-skiing, stand-up skiing, ski-biking, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing and mountaineering. Family members are encouraged and welcome to participate in all activities.
Veterans Participate Free: Through grant funding from the Department of Veteran’s Affairs Adaptive Sports Program, CCASC is able to offer lessons to Veterans with disabilities at no charge. Discounted lift tickets and rentals are available for family members.
